Georgia’s First Electric Vehicle Exposition – Organized, Managed, and Promoted by Ad Geeks

A full-cycle event production and 360° communications campaign that brought Georgia its first electric vehicle expo, attracting thousands of attendees, 30+ EV models, and high-ranking officials while establishing EVNews.ge as the country’s dedicated EV media platform.

THE CHALLENGE
Georgia had no established EV exhibition, no centralized industry event, and limited public awareness of electric mobility as a practical alternative. Ad Geeks set out to create the country’s first EV expo from scratch – handling concept development, venue logistics, exhibitor coordination, and a full promotional campaign – without a pre-existing audience base or event blueprint to follow. The event had to attract a mix of government officials, automotive industry players, and general consumers within a single campaign cycle.
STRATEGY
The campaign operated as a 360° communications effort, with each channel targeting a different audience segment at a different stage of the event awareness funnel:
Built a future-focused brand identity for the expo that positioned electric mobility as an accessible, immediate reality rather than a distant concept
Structured the Meta campaign around car spotlights, countdown content, and teaser videos to build anticipation among consumer audiences on Facebook and Instagram
Deployed LinkedIn content focused on B2B messaging, policy discussions, and partner announcements to reach corporate and government decision-makers
Activated TikTok through influencer collaborations and behind-the-scenes reels targeting younger, early-adopter demographics
Launched EVNews.ge as a standalone media platform publishing daily EV industry updates, giving the campaign an owned content channel that extended visibility beyond paid media

EXECUTION
Ad Geeks managed every layer of the project, from venue selection and exhibitor onboarding to the creative production pipeline and day-of event operations. The promotional campaign launched weeks before the expo and ran across paid social, organic content, outdoor advertising, print materials, email sequences, and SMS blasts segmented by audience type.
The deliverables spanned both digital and physical formats:
Deliverable | Display Format |
Social media campaigns | Car spotlight posts, countdown sequences, and teaser videos across Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok with audience-specific messaging per platform |
TikTok influencer content | Behind-the-scenes reels and collaborative posts produced with local influencers to reach younger EV-curious audiences |
Event landing page | Custom-built registration hub with exhibitor information, schedule details, and integrated lead capture forms |
EVNews.ge platform | Standalone media website publishing daily EV industry news, event coverage, and partner content as an owned editorial channel |
Email and SMS sequences | Segmented pre-event engagement campaigns targeting registered attendees, prospective visitors, and exhibitor contacts |
Outdoor and print materials | Large-format banners, printed brochures, and on-site signage reinforcing the expo’s brand identity across physical touchpoints |
PR and media outreach | Collaborations with local business media outlets for event coverage, interviews, and pre-expo features |
The event itself featured 30+ electric vehicle models with live test drives, interactive exhibitor booths, and panel discussions on EV policy and infrastructure. Attendance included ambassadors, government officials, automotive industry representatives, and thousands of consumers – each segment having arrived through a different channel in the promotional mix.

KEY INSIGHT
Launching EVNews.ge as an owned media channel alongside the expo campaign extended the event’s reach beyond paid promotion, generating ongoing organic traffic and positioning Ad Geeks as the editorial voice of Georgia’s EV sector long after the expo ended. |
